Perfect for the entire family, the Brooklet Peanut Festival kicks off with a festive parade that goes through downtown Brooklet! Featured in this parade are local farmers who make it possible for us to enjoy delicious peanuts and other crops. After the parade, visitors can peruse through local vendors, participate in arts & crafts activities and discover delicious peanut-themed snacks like the classic roadside cup of boiled peanuts. Live entertainment will take place with guest performances from local performers including Jeremy Thomas, The Blue Steele Band, and others throughout the afternoon. Be sure to also check out the infamous tractor races which are a hit with visitors every year!
Support the Local Community
The goal of the Brooklet Peanut Festival is to bring awareness and appreciation to the agricultural community, including local farmers, and recognize how important the peanut is to Georgia’s farming system. The event is organized by the Brooklet Community Development Association, which is entirely made up of volunteers. All revenue from the festival goes towards funding projects in Downtown Brooklet to keep the community flourishing. So, support your local farmers and community by attending the fun and free event!
