Start the weekend on Saturday by cheering on the Eagles football team for their season kickoff at “Whose House? Our House!”, also known as Allen E Paulson Stadium if you aren’t familiar with Eagles lingo. Begin your morning right with a pregame brunch at Sugar Magnolia Bistro & Bar. Indulge in a decadent Breakfast Waffle Sandwich or a hearty plate of Challah French Toast. And make sure to order a signature hot or iced coffee to fuel up for game day!
Head on over to Allen E Paulson Stadium early for Eagle Walk- a Georgia Southern tradition where fans cheer on the team on their walk from the bus to the stadium. Then, treat yourself to a hotdog or burger as you tailgate and ramp up the energy before the game. Kickoff is at 4:00 PM so make sure you find your seat and settle in so you don’t miss a second of the action and excitement as Georgia Southern takes on Boise State.
After the game, celebrate the win with drinks at Gnat’s Landing. Sip on a refreshing beverage and take in the atmosphere of a hyped up Eagle Nation. Gnat’s Landing is the perfect place to celebrate and unwind after a win as you mingle with fellow Eagles fans and Statesboro locals.
