2024-2025 Productions
They kicked off the 2024-2025 season on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024 with Nobuntu, a female acapella quartet from Zimbabwe. This group has international acclaim for their inventive performances that range from traditional Zimbabwean songs to Gospel classics.

The Sail On Christmas Concert: December 3rd, 2024 at 7:30PM
Presented by Sail On! The Beach Boys Tribute, sing-along concert also includes a meet-and-greet with Santa, as well as Christmas tree photo opps, and more festive fun.

Director Spotlight
Meet Daniel Brown, the dynamic new Director of Georgia Southern University’s Performing Arts Center. Daniel is an Alabama native with a rich background in theater, holding his MFA with a concentration in Arts Management from the University of Alabama, as well as his BA in Communication and Dramatic Arts from Auburn University Montgomery. He has honed his craft through his work with regional theaters including the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, the Texas Shakespeare Festival, and the Cloverdale Playhouse. His passion for arts advocacy and sustainability shines through his research on mission development for nonprofits.
His journey to Georgia Southern University was nothing short of adventurous, involving four flights in less than 24 hours to secure his role. From falling in love with the campus and community to starting his position just days after graduation, Daniel is very enthusiastic to take on this new role. Outside of work, he enjoys playing Pokémon GO and exploring new places with his dog, Crystal. Welcome, Daniel, to the GSU Performing Arts Center family!
