The Downtown Statesboro Development Authority invites the community to enjoy an evening of local flavors, live entertainment, and small-town charm at Taste & Tour Downtown Statesboro on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Taste & Tour Downtown is an event that showcases the very best of Statesboro’s downtown businesses and restaurants. For just $10 (cash only), guests can purchase a wristband at the Bulloch County Courthouse and take a self-guided adventure through participating businesses. Along the way, enjoy complimentary food samples, exclusive deals, and plenty of surprises. Upon purchasing your wristband, you’ll receive a map highlighting all the stops- 36 in total- all conveniently located within walking distance of the courthouse. Each destination offers something unique, so be sure to explore the full route and experience everything downtown Statesboro has to offer!
In addition to delicious tasting, wristband holders will receive a discount on tickets to the Harvest Moon concert at the Averitt Center for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. Throughout the evening, downtown will be filled with live music and entertainment, as well as a special interactive appearance by the Tormenta FC players.
Taste & Tour offers the community a fresh way to experience downtown- supporting local businesses while soaking in a fun, walkable, and vibrant atmosphere. “We loved seeing people come together to explore what makes Downtown Statesboro so special,” said Allen Muldrew, Executive Director of the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority. “This event is a perfect way to showcase our amazing restaurants, shops, and the strong sense of community we have here.”
East Main Street will be closed from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to create a pedestrian-friendly environment. Attendees will be able to purchase their $10 wristband after 5:00 p.m. and plan their tour route.
