About
Fletcher Memorial Park
Fletcher Park spans across 28 acres of scenic beauty that was gifted to the county in 2007. This park features a picturesque pond with a path around it, perfect for a leisurely walk or a peaceful fishing day. The park also provides a great space for children to thrive outdoors. Fletcher Memorial Park pond is the location of the annual Fishing Rodeo, an event that hosted around 100 enthusiastic kids this year. Recently renovated in 2023, the house on the property now hosts Camp Cherokee, a fantastic summer camp program that offers kids outdoor activities and educational experiences, along with indoor spaces for crafts and games. With plenty of picnic tables available, it's a great spot for a family outing or a relaxing day in nature. Come explore Fletcher Memorial Park and enjoy all it has to offer!
